Thank you so much for preforming at my sister's wedding... EVERYONE had nothing but amazing things to say about the band. West Macqueen Street Band will be at Weaver Farms on August 22nd to help raise money for Central Illinois Riding Therapy. CIRT has been providing horse therapy to Central Illinois' disabled children and adults for 25 years. Gates open at 9:00 PM. For $5 a head you can come out and dance to your favorite band and support a super program. On Saturday come back out and join us for a Polo Match. No, you don't have to wear a big fancy hat and drink mint juleps...it's a casual, fun affair. We will have activities for kids, equine demonstrations, vendors, and food and drink. Thanks to all of you - esp my sweetadorablesexyhandsome husband Rick, friends, family, "band family" for coming out to Bar Louie to hear my favorite band plus help me celebrate my birthday! Everytime and everywhere we play is a celebration but this one was especially fun for me - in spite of a cold and a horrendus toothache! We not only celebrated my birthday but the beautiful singing Gayle Gutierrez's & Mary (original US STEAL Fan Club Memeber) birthdays also! All the best people are born in April!!! I really loved the cd as a whole. I enjoy lots of music but my favorite song would have to be Bring on the Blues. It just has a great feeling to it. Plus I love all the sax solos :)Hope you guys make another cd.

i really love the first song "Sunday Evening". i really enjoyed the whole cd but that was my favorite. i hope to hear more cds from this band!!!

After seeing John Mellencamp perform in St. Louis last night, I had to listen to "1204" and track 10 - "Loveline". The song has a great Mellencamp feel with the addition of an acordian, violin and cowbell. John uses this type of sound extensively and was an inspiration for Brett(James),Rick and I to create the song voicings and some of the musical "hooks". After John performed hits such as "Cherry Bombs", "Paper In Fire" and the intro to "Check It Out" live, I was really excited to listen to "Loveline" on the drive home to see how close to the mark we were in achieving that raw, earthy sound. I was very pleased at our version of the unique genre that brings rock together with folk-Americana. By the way, you can check out these inspirational songs by listining to Mellencamps "The Best I Could Do 1978 -1988" on Mercury Records.

We loved the CD! They were all great songs! We can't stop listening to it. Mom felt that it was so much better than your first one! The songs are so much more up beat.We love The first song and the third one. Great JOB!

As you guys all know, my big 50th is months over but we all talk about it alot. What a dream BD party. Can't wait to come up and hear you guys in Peoria. Surgery kept me from the New Release of the CD. The new CD is outstanding. Way to go !!!!!!!!!! Molla

I'll do my part... :) I can play it and listen to the music and words, for a change, instead of dancin', although, I did do some dancin' on the kitchen floor last night, ;) thanks!! Couldn't help myself, your style is most definatly dance music, because of the "grove" your music carries. Great piece of work! Your CD is a must to have! Donnie :)
